"People are on the edge now; if I put more pressure on them, they might fall off the edge. We have to be careful that no one falls off."

Iran’s ability to disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz may be weakening as the US blockade takes hold. With oil flows recovering, pressure is increasingly shifting towards Tehran.

Tehran still seeks a negotiated solution to its conflict with the United States, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday, according to semi-official Tasnim news agency.
